Privacy Policy

1. Summary

We collect the minimum needed to run Tinctra: your email for your account, your subscription status for access control, and basic usage data to keep the service working. We don’t sell data, run ad trackers, or collect payment card details ourselves.

2. What we collect

  • Account data — email address and authentication identifiers (if you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your email and provider ID). Stored with our auth provider, Supabase.
  • Billing data — handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment details and billing address; we only store your subscription status and Paddle customer/subscription identifiers.
  • Preferences — your template customizations and theme choice are stored in your browser (localStorage), not on our servers.
  • Technical logs — our hosting providers (Vercel, Cloudflare) keep standard request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and operations.

3. Why we process it

To provide the service (contract), to gate free vs. paid access (contract), to secure the service (legitimate interest), and to comply with tax and accounting law (legal obligation, via Paddle).

4. Who processes data for us

  • Supabase — authentication and database (account data)
  • Paddle — payments, tax, invoicing (billing data, as independent merchant of record)
  • Vercel — application hosting (request logs)
  • Cloudflare — content delivery (request logs)

5. Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Paddle retains billing records for the period required by tax law.

6. Your rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time: support@tinctra.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you additionally have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: your authentication session. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
